Renovating a villa usually means dealing with the joinery sooner or later. Sashes rot, sills split, and an extension needs new windows and doors that sit comfortably beside the originals.
Much of our work is for villa, bungalow and other character homes. Because everything is made to measure in our own workshop at 7 Binsted Road, New Lynn, we build to the sizes and details your house already has rather than forcing it to fit a standard range.

Can you match existing heritage joinery profiles?
Yes. We specialise in heritage restoration and can replicate existing profiles to match villa, bungalow, and period homes. Custom profiles can also be developed to architect specifications.
What timber species do you work with?
We work with pine (treated and untreated), cedar, rimu, kauri, and macrocarpa. Cedar is our usual recommendation for its stability, strength, and resistance to warping in New Zealand conditions.
Do you offer glazing and priming options?
Yes. Double glazing is available across our window range, and we offer pre-priming so the joinery arrives ready for finishing. For exterior joinery we recommend oil-based paint with a light reflective value over 40%.
